Passengers and suitcases share the same space
When you book we ask for two numbers: how many of you there are, and how many large cases you have. They are added together and you are offered the smallest vehicle the total fits in. That is why four people with four cases do not travel in the same car as four people with two — the seats are there, the boot is not.
Count the cases that go in the boot. A handbag, a laptop bag or a small rucksack that rides on your lap is not one of them.
If the numbers change
Tell us before you travel, with your booking reference. More people or more luggage may mean a larger vehicle and a different fare, and we send you the new price before we change anything. A party that arrives larger than the one booked may simply not fit the vehicle sent for it, and that is the one problem nobody can solve standing at the kerb.
Pushchairs, sports gear and anything an odd shape
A folded pushchair, skis, a bicycle, a cello: these travel with us regularly, but each takes the space of one or more cases and some of them need a particular vehicle. Put them in the notes when you book, or message the office, and we will tell you what fits before you are standing next to it.
Which vehicle you will be in
Two classes, a sedan and a van. You do not have to work out which one you need: the booking form applies the limits and shows you the vehicle and the price together, before you confirm. There is more about both on our fleet.
