Getting to Disneyland Park

Charles de Gaulle is north-east of Paris and Disneyland Paris is east of it, so the drive goes around the city rather than through it — about 45 minutes outside the peaks, rarely more than an hour inside them.

There is a train, and it is worth knowing what it costs you. A few direct TGVs a day link CDG Terminal 2 to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy in roughly ten minutes, but they need a seat reserved in advance and there is nothing late in the evening. The fallback is RER B to Châtelet–Les Halles and RER A back out: an hour and a quarter, a change in the middle of Paris, stairs, and your cases the whole way. With children and luggage the car is the shorter journey more often than the timetable suggests.
